Experience

Momentous Corp. September 2015 – November 2015
At Momentous Corp, I was given the responsibility of creating new WordPress themes based on mock-ups of designs created in Adobe Photoshop. I developed the HTML, CSS, and Javascript needed to build the themes and leveraged popular 3rd party open source libraries such as Bootstrap and jQuery to streamline both the responsive requirements and cross-browser functionality. All themes had the requirement of responding gracefully to various screen sizes. This was accomplished by leveraging my experience gained developing a large variety of web sites along with keeping abreast of current technologies; I was able to deliver consistent user experiences across mobile phones, tablets and desktop PCs.

Ahead of the Web    October 2014 – August 2015
At Ahead of the Web, I was designated the WordPress developer. I had a very broad role related to WordPress. The main type of website I worked on was a dentist website. The company has a client involving a network of 63 dentist websites, and my job was basically to keep the clinic websites up to date as much as possible.
I also worked on writing custom plugins for WordPress. These plugins were in-house plugins to automate certain tasks for the network of dentist websites so the 63 clinics were more easily updated.
Enrappture    August 2014 – October 2014
My role was to build websites for random clients the company obtained. The website I put in over 100 hours of work on was https://iimagine.org. I worked on the functionality of it along with a few other people. This website was mentioned by the UN on their twitter feed around the date of its launch.
oDesk    July 2014-August 2014
I did freelance work for several people through oDesk. One example is a website front-end and backend using CodeIgniter for an IT company in Abu Dhabi.
Phoenix Online Media 2009-2014
I did a lot of freelance work for POM from 2009-2014. Almost all the work I did focused on using WordPress. I did everything from theme modification, to adding features to WordPress websites.
Freelancing    September 2005-August 2014, November 2015 – Present
I used internet forums to find clients and create websites for them while I was going to school. These jobs would range anywhere from WordPress, to custom websites built from 0 lines of PHP code, to working with CodeIgniter or other frameworks.
